There are 5 classes to choose from in Dune: Awakening, and you can upgrade your starting class or learn skills from other classes to make your character more powerful. But of course, all of this requires you to complete the corresponding quests.

Of all the classes, Trooper is the most suitable for combat, allowing you to output a variety of effective damage based on mastering skills, so it is also the most suitable to be the starting class.

Based on this, you may want to know how to play this class better by upgrading it in the later game process and make it more powerful. Then, you need to complete Advanced Trooper quest.

In fact, completing the quest can not only help you unlock more related skills, but also bring you more usable Dune Awakening items, which can be said to kill two birds with one stone.

Pre-Work

To upgrade or master more skills by completing quests, you need to make sure you have unlocked Trooper skill tree first, and then find the key NPC Kara to trigger the quest. The specific steps are:

  1. Travel to Griffin’s Reach and talk to the trainer there.
  2. Continue traveling to Arrakeen and find a female advanced trooper named Kara.
  3. Kara is usually located on the second floor of Arrakeen in front of a set of beautifully carved doors with a floating lamp above them.
  4. Talk to Kara to trigger Advanced Trooper quest.

It is worth noting that the conversation with Kara can be quite long, as she will keep trying to deny your training requests. Don’t worry, just keep selecting options and let the conversation continue, and eventually she will agree to give you a contract to start the quest.

Find The Transmitters

This is the first step of the entire quest, as enough transmitters are needed to satisfy Kara’s Semuta habit. To do this, she will mark the location of a slaver base called “Sweep” north of Eastern Vermillius Gap, which you need to infiltrate, and then follow these steps:

  1. Enter Sweep and defeat all enemies you encounter.
  2. Reach to the top floor of this base and find an open book next to the lamp on the table. Reading this book will give you intel on the transmitters.
  3. Return to Kara and find two transmitters on different enemies in the base.
  4. Return all the acquired transmitters to Kara in Arrakeen.

It is worth noting that, first, this mission requires multiple trips to Arrakeen, so make sure you have an Ornithopter, or enough Dune Awakening Solari to cover your trip.

In addition, it is recommended that you make a Holtzman Shield before starting the mission, which can help you avoid some of the enemy’s attacks during the battle brought by the mission, to successfully complete the mission.

Find Tuco

When you return to Arrakeen with all the acquired transmitters, you will soon find that Kara’s transmitter is broken. To do this, you need to continue to find one of her contacts, Tuco, to obtain other usable transmitter.

Compared to the first step, finding Tuco as the second part of Advanced Trooper quest is more troublesome, so we will list all the more specific steps for you.

Travel To Harko Village

When you plan to find Tuco, the system will show that he may appear in Harko Village. But Kara will tell you that if Tuco does not appear there, the bartender at Hannivar’s bar should know where he is.

Next, travel to the location marked on the map for Harko Village, behind the town square. As you might guess, Tuco won’t be there, so you’ll need to continue on to Hannivar’s bar.

Hannivar’s Bar

To ensure you can talk to the bartender at Hannivar’s bar, Kara will give you a special password before you leave. Follow the sequence below to trigger the dialogue options and click the correct password to complete the steps:

  1. Travel to Hannivar’s bar and talk to Anoushka, the dark-haired woman behind the bar.
  2. Give her the password Kara gave you, then ask about Tuco. She’ll tell you that you need to find his coordinates in the ledger in the back room.
  3. Reach to the corresponding coordinates and read the book.
  4. Return to Anoushka and she’ll tell you where Tuco is on the map.

It’s worth noting that completing this quest also allows you to find Advanced Swordmaster in Harko Village and start the associated quest. This NPC is located in the alley behind Hannivar’s bar.

Continue To Search For Tuco

According to the previous step, you know where Tuco is. It is shown on the map as somewhere west of Jabal Eifrit. But the tricky thing is that when you get to the corresponding location, you will find that Tuco is not there.

At this point, if you have enough Dune Awakening Solari, it’s easy. You can obtain and scan the area with a Vehicle Resource Scanner or a Handheld Resource Scanner to help you find a set of tracks leading to Hagga Rift.

Travel To Hagga Rift

Although the mission markers mark the possible location of Tuco in Hagga Rift for you, it is not accurate. It is recommended that you utilize Survey Probe to directly find CHOAM Mineral Extraction Facility #6 and go there.

Because there are enemies and radiation zones in this area, you must equip Holtzman Shield or a radiation suit while ensuring your combat ability. If you do not have these two Dune Awakening items, you must speed up the search for Tuco as much as possible.

In the radiation zone, you will see a crashed Sandbike and the hanging body. Unfortunately, that is Tuco. After interacting with the corpse, you will get the information you need, and then return to Kara to complete Advanced Trooper quest.

After the system prompts you that the task is completed, Kara will give you additional contracts for training, allowing you to further improve your Trooper skills to cope with more difficult game content later.

The above are all the steps to complete this quest, as well as additional precautions that need to be mastered. As you can see, the process requires the simultaneous cooperation of multiple Dune Awakening items, so you must have and master how to utilize them!
